This special edition FunCakes Sugar Paste in Honey Gold is a beautiful honey-gold color and is the color of the year! Not only is the color great, the fondant also has a delicious vanilla flavor. It combines well with other earthy colors Red Earth, Urban Taupe, Old Rose and Teal Blue. Perfect for covering a cake and for cutting out shapes. Before use, knead well and roll out on a thin layer of powdered sugar. You can also use sugar paste to model or create various shapes and patterns. It is also suitable for coloring with food dyes. Allow the fondant to rest for an hour after coloring (covered) for best results. Knead the sugar paste again before processing further. For a round cake with a diameter of 20 cm, you need about 500 g of dough.

Preparation: For best results, the following procedure is recommended: allow the sugar paste to come to ambient temperature. Knead the sugar paste thoroughly until it is smooth and elastic. Sprinkle the work surface with some powdered sugar and use a rolling pin to roll out the fondant into an even shape (2-3 mm thick). Lift the mixture slightly to prevent sticking. After rolling out, are there still small cracks visible on the edges? Knead firmly again until the edges are smooth when rolled. Then the sugar paste is ready to use.
